Mr. Hixson is a chemical engineer with more than ten years of experience in environmental services, including air permitting, air dispersion modeling, health risk analysis, and with compliance assistance, auditing, and training. His experience also includes project finance and development activities such as site acquisitions, contract negotiations, permit applications, and pro forma development.
At E3, he has provided technical assistance and review on more than sixty facilities, both new construction and existing assets ranging in size from less than 10 MW to larger than 600 MW. These projects include coal fired generation, natural gas peakers, combined cycle combustion turbines, biomass fired generation, waste to energy, landfill gas to energy, solar power, and wind turbines. Typical tasks include evaluating potential risks associated with environmental compliance and advising clients on a project's ability to maintain compliance within a specified budget. Mr. Hixson has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
